I have been sick for the past few days or slightly more than a week to be exact. Even now. It is not really serious actually. Just cough, flu, sore throat, running nose, a little bit of diarrhea and fever. However, the son of a strong, fit and healthy guy, Xu Weiming, will be fine. Hopefully. It's been more than 2 years since I've seen a doctor because of illness and my immune system is always able to defeat the viruses and bacteria.

The first week of school wasn't very nice, because I overslept for most of the days. My body still wasn't used to the early waking up. I was kind of addicted to Defenders of the Ancients (DotA) as well and played till late in the morning like two or three ante meridiem (am).

The second week wasn't any better, because I was still playing DotA till late at night. At the latter part of the week, I slept really early, like 10 post meridiem (pm) or even earlier. However, I woke up at about three or four am. This means that I was still lacking of my beauty sleep. Bad.

The third week is also early sleeping and early waking up. A good thing is that I didn't play DotA at all. Boy, I'm proud of myself. So proud and pumped up that I feel like sleeping. And man, a long time no see friend asked me a super sad question. It was something like this 'Eh Weiming, did you put on weight?'

I found out that for this Semester, there are more questions in the tutorials and this means more work. Projects are really early like the fourth and fifth week of the term.

I like to keep my nails short like the nails on my left hand. However, I need to keep a bit of nails on my right hand so that I can pluck the guitar's strings with nice piercing sounds. This is troublesome.

I've finally rebooted my computer.

Some abstract happenings in school:

I was shitifed when I found out that you can't sue people for privacy issues. Oh man, Weida is going to 'siao1 yao2 fa3 wai4' after viewing all my highly confidential files.

I also realised that if you were to dig a piece of nose shit which is bigger than the parking coupon tab, you should not roll and flick it away. That will be considered as littering and you may need to do Corrective Work Order (CWO). One way to counter this is to nicely divide it into smaller pieces and shoot them around.

Recently, there have been cases of girls peeping at the guys' toilets. They nonchalantly shared with their friends what they had seen and laughed loudly. This kind of act isn't something worth showing off and I think that it is wrong to do so.

We have different types of interesting teachers. Teacher who anyhow cut other people's hair, teachers who laugh at their own jokes, teacher who likes horses, teachers who like to talk to themselves, teacher who laughed at other people's height, teachers who shared their stories and teacher who talk about contradicting issues.

There is a new school rule. That is to dress formally every Thursday and smart casual wear for the rest of the week days. I think that it is not very smart because it is very superficial. For example, we are just wearing that so that we look smart though we are not really that way. However, if we were really smart, people will be able to notice or sense it. Okay. Ignore that. I think that we are still quite young and should wear tee shirts. It will be weird if we were to wear tee shirts when we were like thirty or forty years old, or wear blazers when we really young. Maybe lecturers should have dress codes as well. Like tee shirts and jeans on Friday so that they do not look too serious. Okay, that is getting really crappy. I need to sleep.

I'm really thankful to the person who returned my thumbdrive. Really thanks a lot. All my precious and important files would have been gone for good if not for the person. I don't know how to thank the person and I don't know who he or she is.
